My client is one of South Africa’s leading suppliers of frozen fruit, purees and concentrates and services the industrial trade. They source local fresh fruits for freezing and also export worldwide.

Position details:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Warehouse Manager.
Primary purpose: This role will manage all sales, fleet and warehouse activities including receiving, storing and dispatch.
Job description / core competencies:
Apply FSSC22000 principles
Oversee all receiving and deliveries according to Company processes and procedures
Capturing and managing inventory on sage system
Arrange and manage quarterly stock takes
Inspect stock arriving for Quality
Management of stock, accuracy and maintaining good condition
Fleet management including loading, weight distribution, service, licensing
Maintain cold chain throughout the receiving and delivery processes
Verify daily vehicle and temperature checks
Oversee factory shop
People management
Arrange and oversee any maintenance at the Branch
Manage expenses within budget
Implement, Maintain, and ensure continuous improvement of systems, processes and policies
Comply with all legal requirements, legislation, processes and protocol

Job Qualification & Experience:
Matric with Mathematics
Management and/or Supply Chain Degree
3 – 5 years management and warehouse experience
Sound knowledge of warehouse processes
Excellent problem solver and analytical thinker
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
