What is the primary purpose of this position?
An opportunity was presented to start-up, operate & manage a Civil Engineering Department with a fellow colleague at Plant Design & Project Services where I was offered an equity stake in the company (PDPS mainly specializes in Process & Piping Design). My interest was also to further gain knowledge and experience in the design of Structures in the Energy & Chemical Sector.

What are some of your greatest achievements (When and how have you saved your employers time, money and resources)?
To successfully start-up, operate & manage a Civil Engineering Design office by implementing the necessary procedures & standards, as well as appointing the right people to do the job. I also extended my own capabilities by learning how to operate & draft with 3D Modelling & CAD packages. This enabled the Engineering Office to manage bigger workloads as I was able to perform Engineering & Drafting activities within the office.
